I always approach a Colleen Hoover book with some trepidation. While usually a good solid read, the angst is always there. And I don't relish experiencing angst. This book was no different. The angst started on page 1.

I did get to enjoy this book about a third of the way through, though. I liked the characters and how they slowly began to trust each other. You could understand everyone's position especially as you were slowly exposed to the actual truth of the matter.

This is one of the best books I've ever read, and it is now my favorite from Colleen Hoover. I was pulled in from beginning to end and could hardly put it down - I stayed up way too late reading it, and I jumped right back in it today as soon as I could. Then, after finishing it, it took me a while to try to write a review, especially because I needed time for my eyes to stop being so swollen from crying that I could type. 😉
