4.5 Stars
I have read a few books by this author, and they all have been 4-5 star reads for me. For the first third of this book, I was struggling and really had to push myself to continue. Secret Service Agent, Sean Avery, is having a hard time with an event that happened 366 days ago. It started to pluck my nerves being in his head and him being so emotional about it. When we finally find out (around 36%?) it is a relief and the reading experience changed completely.

As Sean begins to investigate things are not adding up and now Jonathan is in danger and Sean is willing to do anything to keep him safe. This was a really good read. These two had no one to trust but each other. This was my first ti

Typical Tal Bauer, which means it was amazing! Solid writing, great story and an ending that made this girls heart happy. If Tal writes it, I’ll read it.
