OMG! Sophie was stressing me out! She is trying to live in an imaginary world and keep all parts of the real world separate. Keeping secrets from absolutely everyone as she just goes her imaginary and very un-merry way!!! But like all JEA books, the story is so well worth the angst!

I have never been disappointed with this authors work and this story had everything I've come to expect from a Jewel E. Ann novel. She has a unique way of building her characters so that you really feel that you know them and look forward to seeing how they will handle the situations that arise. I don't want to say too much about what this book is about because I feel going in blind is best. I loved this novel! From the very first chapter this novel reached out and grabbed me and did not let go until the very last page. Even then I did not want this novel to end. I love this author and this novel did not disappoint. There are so many things I loved about this novel. The dialogue and banter was so very very good. I loved Shep and Sophie. What Lovers Do is just what I needed. It’s a fun (And funny), light hearted love story. Sophie is the sweetest optometrist you will ever meet. She has a history of letting boyfriends take advantage of her. Her current ex, won’t leave her house no matter how many ways she tells him to leave. Well the mastermind wordsmith named Jewel E Ann has done again. What Lovers Do is a great, quick read story showcasing the ups and downs or falling in love regardless of life's obstacles through the witty sarcastic banter between Shep and Sophie.
I want to peek into the life and mind of Jewel E Ann to find out where she stores all of her words. She can write a book so full of dialogue and not lose the reader, her words make you laugh out loud one minute while blinking the tears from your eyes th ...more
