Emily Henry really doesn't disappoint. I liked this even better than Beach Read and People We Meet On Vacation. Maybe that was because in some ways I identified with Nora and Charlie even more than the other couples. I'm no book editor or literary agent, and I really don't think I'd like to try and survive living in NYC. But I am a book person. Another great read by EH!

This book had me hooked from the start! This is my first time reading Emily Henry & now I completely understand the hype!
The characters were dynamic, and the dialogue was fun (especially the email exchanges and banter between Nora and Charlie). I enjoyed how the relationship between Nora and her sister evolved throughout the story. Add a small NC town and a bookshop for a backdrop, and you got yourself a perfect read!
Overall, a fantastic book that I will be recommending to all of my friends! N ...more

Nora Stephens & Charlie Lastra
I enjoyed this book. Nora has really sacraficied a lot for the people she loves. So much so, that she doesn't see it as giving anything up as long as they're happy.
She has a meeting with Charlie on one of the suckiest days of her life and things don't go well. She leaves that meeting basically thinking he's an ass.
Things get interesting when they end up in the same small town. They both realize there's a connection there and that they both made some assumptions ab ...more
