I absolutely was sucked into this story from the very beginning. The world building is fantastic, even though I was very confused at first (and I may still be), but the author has a glossary on his website that was a big help.
This is definitely action packed with very likeable characters. I’m off to read the next one!

Audiobook, 5 Stars! I’ve finished this trilogy and it has become one of my all time favourites, with each audiobook getting better and better. Josh Hurley does an amazing job with the narration, bringing all that snark and banter to life. The story is fast paced and action packed. It’s a wild adventure that you don’t want to end.
I initially rated this at 4-Stars but once I thought back on how much I enjoyed reading it and the quality of the writing, I feel the need to boost it to 5-Stars.
The Tarot Sequence came highly recommended and was hyped up by many in the M/M Romance Group here on GoodReads and so I was slightly worried that I would be let down when I finally got around to starting the series with the first book, The Last Sun. Loved reading every word of this book. I especially loved Rune's and Brand's conversations and the way each important scene was unfolding some new secret which is going to be uncovered in the upcoming books.
