Not a good vibe for me. I didn't click with the characters -- and there were too many involved anyway. The relationship building between the main characters was overpowered by so many sidelines that it felt underwhelming and monotonously boring. I didn't feel the love -- and I didn't connect with either the hero or heroine and that's a must for a book to work for this reader.

Teague Miller & Phoebe Lightly

In the beginning I didn't think I was going to like this very much. The Lightly's came across as rich snobs and I just kept thinking why do I want to continue to read about people with first world problems. Then I got defensive of Phoebe and some of her family (but mainly Phoebe) for the way the Teague and the residents of Tickled Pink treated them (mainly her).
