Jaw-dropping, mind-blowing entertainment. This one will have you turned inside out. Geissinger, for whatever reason, is changing things up a bit and I thought it was freaking awesome -- "Verity 2.0" style. Oh yeah, there are those readers that are complaining about being unhappy with the change up -- yet the writing remains clear and strong with amazingly well-developed characters. What an awesome twisty story! It is romantic and mysterious, humorous and touching and then BOOM!! It’s something else entirely. I absolutely loved this book!!

“When he looks up at me, cheek glowing red with my handprint, he’s grinning. There’s a wicked gleam in his eyes. “Just admit it, sweetheart. You’re in love with me.”
“If this is love, I’d rather have dysentery. At least then there’d be a good reason for all the sh*! I’m dealing with.”

This was my first book by this author.

I have to be honest....up until about 75% of the book, I thought it was a good book, with hot sex, a hot alpha and two broken people finding their way. It would have landed a solid 3.5 rating.

And then....the plot twist.
And then....the plot twisted again.
And then....the plot twisted again.

The first plot twist, holy hell, if the book had ended there I think I would have slit my wrists.

I was blown away by this one. Did not see any of it coming!

I loved it! This novel took me on a ride. I was on the edge of my seat reading to see what was going to happen next. From the moment I started reading I could not put this novel down until the very last page. I loved Olivia and James.
The chemistry was so hot. This novel checked all of my boxes for me. I loved the dialogue, so good. I have read other novels by this author and this novel did not disappoint.
