Wowza - the authors are not pulling any punches with this one. From the very beginning this story was at full throttle and it never let up. Whether it was the action (of which there was a lot) or that tenseness you get when waiting for the other shoe to drop, this book kept me on the edge of my seat. And in the midst of all of that were some amazing relationships…Cas and Saphir, Saphir and Suri, Cas and Quentin. 3.75 Stars! Interesting start to a new series. Sometimes confusing combination of moderne setting/cars/computers/cell phones with historical clothing and customs. Will read book 2.
