What Members Thought

I have no idea why I started this series with the fifth book, but it worked. I had no problem getting drawn into the small town of Calamity, Montana and the wonderful characters who filled the pages with such a wonderful multi-faceted story.
A divorced hunky attorney driving a corvette rolls into town looking for a new start, a beautiful single mom with a darling little girl named Wren fighting her own demons, and a teenage girl looking for an attorney to help her file a lawsuit against her Engl ...more

Imagine moving to a new town and opening a business. It’s a lot harder than one could imagine. For Ronan – settling in Calamity means opening up a new law office in a town that still views him as an outsider. Finding cases for his new law practice leads Ronan crossing paths with his new neighbor – Lark Hale.
Lark is a single mother who teaches at the local high school. She seems to be unfazed by Ronan’s kindness and quest for a date. The duo finds themselves in a sticky situation when one of Lar ...more

4 1/2 "I see you." Stars!
Absolutely loved! Ronan and Lark have a sweet story with some really great heat. They did something fantastic for someone just because they noticed a need. Plus Lark was a single mon of a sweet little girl. Ronan fell just as hard for Wren as he did for Lark from the start. Great addition to the Calamity Montana series. Happy reading. ...more

I absolutely loved this small town, single-mom romance. It is sweet, emotional, heartwarming and oh, so swoony!
“After tonight, there’d be no walking away.”
I immediately fell in love with Ronan, Larke and of course Wren. And WOW! that twist near the end was a bit of a shock… Loved it!

5 Stars!
Willa Nash is back with the next book, the fifth to be exact, in her addictive Calamity Mountains series and y'all this may be the best yet in this series. One is my favorite tropes wrappedup by a favorite author.
Swoony, unforgettable, a journey that'll captivate you from the first word to the very last. The Brawl gives us Ronan and Larke's story and y'all it was allllllll kinds of amazing. From the very start these two pulled me in with their incredible tension and swoony chemistry. I w ...more

I adore this series, each story brings together two people you wouldn't think would be a good match and makes the reader root for each fantastic couple. This time around the focus is on Larke, sister of Kerrigan from book 3, who is a hard working single mom that is taken for a whirlwind, when a student decides to sue her over a grade. The one helping the student is newcomer Ronan Thatcher, whose trying to fit into this small town and meets a student whom he knows there is more to her story. Plus

Ronan Thatcher & Larke Hale (Wren)
I think this may be my favorite of the series.
Ronan stole my heart from the beginning. When he sets his eyes on Larke for the first time and does everything he can to get her attention. Then his interactions with Wren & Ember just solidified my feelings.
I already had an affinity to Larke, and was looking forward to her story, and I'm so glad I wasn't disappointed. I think a lot of people will relate to Larke, especially anyone who has dealt with all the emotio ...more

I felt like the book could’ve been longer. Some parts felt rushed to me.
