Cloudy. I’ve been at a loss lately and right on cue, Jonty Bloom came into my life and brought his sunshine inside. He couldn’t have timed things any better. I'm in the minority with my rating, this one really didn't work for me. It started off brilliantly - a local to me setting, hurt comfort, a nice age gap, a smart mouth Jonty and a closed off Devan, I loved the banter ..... at first. But oh my gawwwwwd!!! It was fah-reaking relentless and went from funny and believable to forced, irritating and ridiculous. That kid never. bloody. shut. his. gob.

This was so very good and is still with me a few days later. I feel like it is just stuck to my bones right now and I have this almost need to re-read it. I don’t really want to let it go and I feel like there is probably so much more greatness to discover. It just to me seems like the kind of book where you’d pick up new things on a second and third and so on read.
I loved it.
