WOW! Great start to the new "Treasure State Wildcats Series." Devney Perry adds another win to her scoreboard using vivid imagery, witty dialogue, precise humorous timing and a wide-range infusion of emotions. “Coach” may be her best yet – and my favorite! Filled with tropes booklovers crave – single dad with a 9-year-old daughter, second chance romance, smalltown and college football! I was all-in from the first page. Absolutely loved the connection between Ford and Millie! The entire support c

I absolutely adored this second chance story!
I absolutely adored this second chance story!
Millie’s crush on Ford didn’t die even after he chose trying to do the right thing by Sienna.
Ten years later when now single dad Ford arrives back as the new coach for the Wildcats he wants his second chance. But a no fraternization rule makes things even more difficult. Neither wants to put Millie’s dream job on the line.
Such a sweet and swoony story, exactly what I’ve come to expect from this author!

This novel had so many things I love to find in a novel, it was a sports novel, single parent, and former friends. From the very first chapter this novel reached out and grabbed a hold of my heart and didn't let go until the final page. Even then I did not want this novel to end. I love Millie and Ford. Oh my gosh their chemistry w

I was pulled in from the first page, but I was on a bit of a seesaw of feelings about this story. On the one hand it had a lot of the tropes that I love: single dad, sport, 2nd chance, but it had one of the things that I dislike, and that's when reasonable people can't go through their regular lives without constantly thinking about this person they want to be with.
It's wasn't that bad here, but it does annoy me when it does. You both had a life ...more
