What Members Thought

Emily Henry has become a staple for summertime reads. Her latest arrived just in time to save me from that painful choice of "what do I read next?"
Told only from Harriet’s point of view in past and present timelines. I wish we had gotten Wyn's as well. In my humble opinion, I think this story would have benefited by the inclusion of his thoughts at certain points in their relationship. They were not on the same brainwave for a lot of the time.

Although this isn't my favorite Emily Henry by a long shot, I did enjoy it. I especially liked the emphasis on mental health and the lacking self confidence of the friends. This would make a great beach or vacation read, since it doesn't take that much concentration.

I have really grown to really enjoy Emily Henry's books. This was no exception.
The story is told entirely from Harriet's pov, but it's not just about her. It's about the entire group of friends and how their relationship grew and changed as a group and as couples (because over the years they have paired up). Overall though it's about Harriet having to deal with Wyn after they broke up months ago and telling everyone the truth.
