Almost five days later and I'm still thinking about this. I LOVED IT! So much.

It was to me such a perfect romance. Really, it was everything and was just all the reasons I read romance. It totally swept me away.

I really loved everything about it and I could have just kept reading about these two and wouldn't have been bored.

Wyatt was a total sweetheart. Noel was left at the alter and decides to go on his honeymoon to Mexico by himself. While there, he meets Wyatt. Wyatt lives in Texas and is a rancher and Noel lives in New York and works in public relations. They share a magical week together. And when Wyatt talks about the future, Noel bolts. I did enjoy watch these two figure out how they are going to make things work.

Lushly romantic. I loved it. Noel and Wyatt are superb people in their own rights (deeply flawed at times, with a lot of baggage to work through, but still superb) but together they are magical. I especially enjoyed Wyatt's history with his father that winds through the book and provides a lot of poignant moments and a beautiful opportunity for Noel to be show up and be there for Wyatt, like Wyatt has done for him when he was at his absolute lowest. I want to thank Wyatt. They say your soulmate is out there somewhere. But my goodness, Noel is more than anyone should handle. I won’t spoil you with the details. Hats off to Wyatt for being there for Noel.

My feelings for Noel do not prevent me from enjoying the story. To each his own.

However, issues throughout the book popped up. The romance falls into the insta-love trope. It was faster than the blinking eye. Wyatt isn’t exactly GFY, but he isn’t an experienced gay man either. I fe ...more
