This story had a lot of potential -- but as seems to be the case the last several years or so, Keeland just hasn't kept me engaged or enthralled. I love the characters she creates and also the ideas she comes up with for the plotting. When she's on point, VK's writing is alive and dynamic.

I absolutely adored this book! It had me snort laughing out loud, highlighting quotes all over the place (none of which I can use in this review… Dirty boy, Beck ;) but also bawling big fat tears.

This is yet another fantastic stand alone from Vi Keeland. I look forward to these.
This is Beck and Nora.
It did start out Louise and Nora though. But, not the way you may be thinking. This was about their friendship, adventures, and living your life to the fullest and the best that you can.
Louise has terminal cancer. Treatments wouldn't help. This is what they do before she passes away.
Beck is Louise's grandson. He thinks things are too dangerous for her to do since she's old and dying.
