The latest standalone written by the duo Ward and Keeland was slow on the upstart and a middle of the road read for me. But as the story moved forward and the pacing picked up, I found myself becoming more involved in the characters and their story.

I really liked how Owen and Devyn met, then ended up spending a night together. Devyn leaves and doesn't look back, but who ends up being the landlord in her mother's building where she is currently staying? None other than Owen.

They end up becoming friends and, on their way, to being more, but a couple things pop up that they have to get through if they want to be together.

This is the third book in the Rules of Dating series. They are stand alones, but all have been great reads!
This is Owen & Devyn's story.
Devyn is a new character, but her siblings aren't. They are the trouble makers of the building.
But we do find out why they act that way. My heart broke for what those kids have gone through.
I love this story.
It kept me on the edge of my seat with the big secret.
I love how it all worked out.
I absolutely love Devyn for how she stepped up for those kids.
