I’m odd girl out here. This book is a Hallmark movie in book form but I was bored out of my mind. I got so tired of the “ you need to sell the farm” and “ no we won’t sell the farm” for most of the book. By the end I didn’t care about the stupid farm 😂

Isabelle Cook & Elias Stoneheart

I liked the premised of this story, but it took me too long to warm up to Elias. In my opinion, his story didn't help to excuse his horrible behavior. By the time he started to redeem himself enough for me I was already down to two stars. The only reason it got one more is because no matter what Isabelle continued to fight for her family farm and the epilogue was really sweet.
