Vera Gallagher and Mateo Eden

Okay evidently, I love the Eden family, or I wouldn't have kept going to this book.

I've been waiting for Mateo's story and after meeting Vera in the previous book I was hoping for her to get a happy ending.

I know it says unrequited love, but it doesn't make reading about someone's unreciprocated longings/feelings any easier to read.

This book grew on me the more I got into it, but I struggled a bit in the beginning and just didn’t feel engaged in the story. However, the 2nd half drew me in more, and I enjoyed the epilogues and thought they were a sweet way to end the series.

I absolutely adored this final book in The Edens Series!
Vera Gallagher was introduced in Crimson River. She has been through unimaginable trauma but with the help of family friend Vance & the entire Eden clan she is putting her life back together and searching for “normal”.

I kenw Mateo and Vera's story would be awesome. Since we met her in Crimson River, her story has been heartbreaking and it was. That poor girl has gone through some trauma but, when she saw Mateo, that was it for her. And when you add Allie to the mix? Adorable. I'm sad to see the end of the Eden family but Mateo and Vera were the perfect ending. ...more
