What Members Thought

I have to say that this is by far my favorite series to listen to in audio book. It literally feels like watching a movie.
While I still loved this book and story, I didn't love it as much as the first one. However, with that said, I do love a good enemies-to-lovers story and this definitely delivered on that.
There was one scene that I was literally laughing and on the verge of crying while listening to. (view spoiler) ...more

Lachlan Kane & Lark Montague
Comments from Buddy Read:
I've only gotten through the epilogue and part of Chapter 1, but I had to come here and say that Lark is already my favorite.

I would rate this more on the lines of 4.5 but I figured give this some extra hype. I have to say in my opinion this one was better than the first. I felt more engaged reading this one rather then B&B. The level of spice was on point. I was happy to learn that the dog was going to be fine. I dont know if it would have had the same rating otherwise. I totally cant wait for the next one to come out.

Review is for the audiobook version. B&B was such a great audiobook because the narrators recorded together. Unfortunately they did not for this book. I know it is different narrators, a different production company, etc and I understand and support why there was a change. I really liked both Eric Nolan and Samantha Brentmoor in this book, it's just missing the magic that comes from recording together.
