5 of the “Funnest” Stars Ever

As you begin to read, it won’t take long before you’ll know with certainty that you’ve hit the prime mother lode. With its exceptionally unique and amazing combination of “reluctant psychic romantic comedy” – and a layer of suspense -- this one is pure gold!

Certainly nothing like my usual – but so much more than I ever expected, and thankfully I had the good sense to one-click. Lucy Score definitely scores bigly in taking rom-com to a whole other level. Oh my gosh – this book is such an absolute gem. And just what I needed at the right time -- full of unfettered banter, fun and more fun -- and a cast of characters that keep the frenetic action on a fast-track. It’s a bang-up good time!!

Written in third person from dual POV, this book is a keg of dynamite and feels something like a cross-over between the Keystone Cops and Magnum PI. Enter one slick and icky Dickie Frick and the wild and zany escapades begin. Only I won’t be telling you the play by plays. This one is just calling all wanna-be sleuths to pull out their magnifying glasses and spot the clues to solve this case!

The dynamic-duo pairing of Riley Thorn and Nick Santiago is perfect! She’s recently divorced and 34 years old, has a mysterious middle name that she’ll never divulge, along with some special skills – mainly psychic abilities she’s learning to control. Nick, a brooding but charming 37 year-old former police detective turned private investigator, is unattached and plans on staying that way, who has a “fine ass,” dimples and just the right amount of tattoos. Oh yes, Nick makes the females swoon! But Riley holds a power over him that he can't resist.

An explosion of chaotic characters in the secondary cast is simply too marvelous to even begin to describe. Even the bad guys do justice to their roles. And there's Mrs. Penny, a crime-fighting granny, along with a matchmaking dog named Burt, who steal the show at times.

Lucy Score must write more, more, and even more of these fabulous characters and their madcap adventures. Please oh please let it be so!

This book is fantastic, a top read this year, with a psychic, a hot PI and a hilarious cast of mis-fits joining in the fun. Many laugh out loud moments, with a great mystery to be solved and plenty of action. This is set up to be a great series, a great looooong series. Please? Pretty please? 5 stars!
