I absolutely loved this story this time around. The conflict was still sad but it didn't bring ne down this time around. I adore The Great Beast! Pia is my kinda girl. Can handle her autocratic man. Lol. And little Peanut. I just adore. Rereads are the best! Happy reading!

I used to hate revisiting couples but now I absolutely love it. Here it is no different. We can’t see how Pia & Dragos are getting on what they have encountered as mates so far and what they face together as mates and EQUAL partners.

Ms. Harrison has created a great addition to the series and I enjoyed immense. There was action, banter and an awesome plot line. I love Dragos he is one of the best Hero’s ever. Pia is an equally kick arse although she is somewhat of a trouble magnet.

Now we are back to Dragos and Pia. I figured we would be after the prophecy that Dragos received through the Oracle in the last book.

In this book we get an understanding of what the prophecy meant, and see it be dealt with.

Pia is 7 months pregnant with an unknown due date since she is having a dragon shifter baby (could be a gestation of up to 2 years). She is going to the Elves to try to make peace after everything Dragos did when they got together.

Of course things don't go as planned.

The story was missing the romance and there was a lot of war and battling, Pia was especially combative when I felt it was uncalled for from her character. Pia ends up not being a very likable heroine, I'm disappointed as I was extremely excited for this book. ...more
