I absolutely loved this book. This is one of those times I want to do a book justice in my review so much, I can't really think of what to say. I'll begin with Aaliyah. I love Aaliyah so much. I haven't related so closely to a character in a long time. Mainly because of how she was raised. She was scared and brave and vulnerable and fierce all at the same time. It is so hard to break from expectations and what you have been told your whole life. Maybe I just wish to be like her... Her cousin Tam ...more
