I wanted to read another book after really enjoying Hannah and the Hitman and in the beginning, I was really enjoying the story! Jane and Ty were fun, her kids were realistic and not plot-moppets, and the secondary characters (mostly) felt like real people you could meet in small-town America. And then (view spoiler)
