This book had all the feels! Really, I do love Abby, but this one really dug deep. Real people with real problems fall in love. Life gets in the way. But true love finds a way. I just loved the characters - especially the non human ones - more veterinarians in my romances, please!

Another solid read from Jimenez -- I found myself wishing and hoping for these two to finally get a happily-ever-after. The struggles and roadblocks were many and sometimes I ached for them both. Abby Jimenez always creates such interesting characters who find themselves tangled in difficult circumstances. I love her writing style that is so appealing and easy to follow.

This one might not be my favorite but it is well-worth the read.

Xavier and Samantha meet right before Samantha moves back home to help take care of her mother. The happen to have an amazing date and after some waffling decide to have a long-distance relationship.

I like that the author showed how hard having such a relationship could be, but also the determination and work that they both put into trying to stay connected when the obstacles sometimes seemed insurmountable.
