If you haven’t read the madness that is Metal Slinger, I genuinely don’t know what you’re doing with your life. The pacing in the beginning dragged quite a bit, and I honestly found myself getting bored. Everything felt rushed—especially the romance and main plot development—which made it hard to stay invested. I almost gave up a couple of times. That said, I’m glad I pushed through, because the last 100 pages completely turned things around. The plot twist genuinely caught me off guard, and it made the whole experience feel more worthwhile in the end.

I was really impressed by this! 🙌🏼
I loved the magic system, the romance, and the banter between the main characters. The plot twist at the end completely took me by surprise! I can't wait to read the second book to see where it all goes. I do hope the next one includes a bit more world-building and has better pacing. ...more
