I...wow. I don't even know where to begin with this novel.
I started reading this for an upcoming video where I read vampire YA from the early 2000s. I was fully expecting this read to be problematic, cringy, and fun-to-make-fun-of.
This novel was so much fucking fun.
I can't remember the last time I read a book that I was this invested in. Everything about it, from the high school drama to the romance to the plot line, had me 100% consumed.
Also, the romance. THE. ROMANCE. I cannot.

This book was pretty good. But it was a bit slow in some parts. I liked it because the author connected with the reader. The emotions that arose about different characters was crazy because I didn't expect to be able to connect with the book and get to know the characters but it was a great read.
