Hmmmm.... Audiobook review...
I just loved this.. The movie tickled me very much so I thought 'Why Not'? Wil Wheaton did the voiceover and just really clicked.
The story started slow but really picked up. There were more elements in it than I saw in the movie which was all to the good. Daito and Shoto's relationship and then what happened to Daito. The writing got a little too descriptive, slowing the story's progress. ...more

I enjoyed this much more than I thought I would even without getting all the video game references. Good story, likable characters, and believable plot. Also, I listened to the audiobook read by Wil Wheaton who did a great job.
This is a great read if you like 80's references, video games, DND, or adventures/quests. It was fun.
