This is one of the best books I've read in a long time. And the HBO mini-series is being very faithful to the book. It is amazing the amount of details contained in the three story lines in the series. All three wonderfully interwoven and yet, continue on their own. I can't believe it took me this long to 'discover' such a great series. ...more

I was wary because of the writing style for the first few chapters of the book. However, Martin won in the end, sucked me into his story, and I'll definitely be reading the rest of this series if the quality is maintained. I just wish the series was completed so as to avoid years of suspense. :) ...more
