What Members Thought
Meh. I tried to make it through this entire book in the spirit of devouring a regarded classic, but it was challenging. The writing did have a romantic ethereal quality, which was intriguing, but not an easy read. Also, the content itself was a bit troubling and difficult to engage with. I made it nearly to the end, and finally just decided to move along to something I was more interested in reading.
I b liked the style of writing. I went into the book not really knowing what it was about, other than it was a classic so I was deeply disturbed when I realized the subject matter. The narrator did a great job in my version of the audiobook; I probably would not have finished the book otherwise.
I dont remember why I started reading this, and I don’t know why I didn’t stop reading it. Icky ick
