Kind of a warm fuzzy book that reminded me of my growing up in the country. I enjoyed reading about farm life and especially the dad that Dallas based loosely on her dad. The Jolly Stitchers quilting group was a nice feature of the story. Although this book is fiction; Japanese interment camps existed during WWll.

This was an interesting coming of age book about a girl who experiences her town opening a Japanese camp during World War 2. The story was very entertaining and reminded me of At the Corner of Bitter and Sweet.
