Really more like 3.5 stars.
This is my 3rd book by this author and definitely rests in the middle of the other two (big little lies and 9 perfect strangers).
I liked the short chapters going back and forth between characters and past and present events. It was really interesting to see how “the event” impacted the three couples in the story.
I did feel a little let down about “the event” 🙄 It wasn’t quite as dramatic as it could have been. And it took forever to be told what it was (although I h ...more

Once you find an author you like, it makes it so enjoyable to add of his/her books to your "to read" list. That is exactly how I feel about Liane Moriarty. Couldn't put this one down.
