If you like mystery’s/ thrillers this is such an amazing book. The twists and turns I never saw coming, and the way everything wraps up at the end had me smiling and crying. I loves the experience of reading this book as someone who grew up in the mountains it takes place in. Liz Moore’s writing has a way of transporting you to a different world while you’re reading, and you’ll never be bored!
“The God of the Woods” by Liz Moore was the July 2024 pick for my online book club. This was the first book I’ve read by this author but it will not be the last. This book kept me guessing all the way through with all the plot twists and turns and the dual timelines. Even when I thought I had everything finally figured out the book had a shocking ending I never saw coming. This was a great book!
