If you love any part of 80s trivia/pop culture, computer history, video games, or Role Playing games this is the book for you! Nearly every few pages contained a nerdgasm. All the fabulous nerdy references aside, this book actually has a really good plot and Cline sets up a world that truly feels possible. I LOVED THIS BOOK! Also, check out the rad 80s playlist Ernest cline has set up on his webpage through Spotify: http://open.spotify.com/user/largehea... ...more

*Wil Wheaton audio book version*
I loved this book. It was clever, funny, and delightfully referential. Nerds, gamers, outcasts, and geeks, this is the book for you. The only weirdness I had is that the interludes of background information on the Oasis and it's history were hugely long. Like an hour and more sometimes in audio book land. That said, the strictly information bits were still fascinating. Wonderful. Simply wonderful.
