This book didn't move me. It was fast paced and interesting but it lacked something. Not sure what. I may have expected too much from it. It's on the list of nominees for the 2015 Louisiana Teen Readers Choice award. Working in the teen department of the library I try to stay on top of teen releases and popular teen books. I know some teens that will enjoy this book, but it just wasn't one of my favorites. ...more

I really wasn't sure what I thought of this for about the first half of the book. Humor is subjective, and I'd find parts of the book really funny and other parts over-the-top and stupid more than humorous. However, once the plot finally gets rolling, it's really good--like couldn't put it down good. The sequel is definitely going on my "To Read" list.
