Pride and Prejudice is a beautiful story in which we follow Elizabeth and her sister Jane on their journey to marriage. I enjoyed reading it since each sentence was like reading poetry, as they were so beautifully phrased. I appreciate how Jane Austen can describe each person without shallow words or descriptions that sexualise them, which you often find in modern books about romance. Instead, this is a classic traditional romance with real love and yearning.
Wow, this book was something! A lovely story were you follow as a strong and lively minded girl, Elizabeth Bennet and a proud man called Mr Darcy fall in love. The story is very well and beautifully written but it was a little above my English literacy level therefore the 4 star rating.
Feels a bit illegal to not give this classic a 5 but some parts were just too cumbersome. But hellooo the fact that they didn't even kiss a single time but I still got butterflies in my whole stomach??? slay.
