Although I'd read this Poirot novel as a kid of perhaps 11 or 12, I didn't have any specific memories of it, except for the English setting, and the fact that the title comes from an epigraph from Shakespeare (I'm not well read enough in his work to identify the source of the quote, though), which alludes to cypress wood as material for a coffin.
