Wonderful book about a Latino family with Merci, the 6th grader daughter, as the heroine. The multi-generational family lives in 3 houses in South Florida. They are loving and loyal as they face the grandfather's (Lolo) onset of Alzheimer's disease. Learning new Spanish words and customs is a bonus, but the main story is full of humor and heart.
