i just want to start off this review by saying i had ZERO idea what to expect from this book. in fact i didn’t even realise it was a fantasy until i searched it up on pinterest. i thought it was more of a dystopian vibe, just based off the font on the front cover (okay so i know i shouldn’t judge a book by it’s cover but i want to be honest (it’s clear i didn’t look properly at the cover seeing as there’s a bunch of things that hint it’s a fantasy)).

you might be asking "Grace whyyy the low rating?" And to that, I will say, I'm sorry 😔

Things I liked:
– Kingsley, the frog 🐸, loved his crown, too.
– The Villain smelled like cinnamon, man, I wish I did.
– He also had a "dimple" but only showed it around Sage.
– Most out of pocket lines ever, "They'd almost certainly trade you for something more fun, like a giant bee." 👀 Huh???

Things I didn't like:
– The plot was soooo forgettable, I forgot what they were trying to do in the first place. I guess ju ...more
