3.7⭐️ I enjoyed this book almost as much as the first one. Like most “second books in a trilogy”, the entirety of the book was an adventure. I think Evangeline plays the perfect heroine for a fairytale, especially since this book is shaped around whether fairytales are true or not.

I'm sad to be rating this lower than the first time I read it but I just didn't love it as much. I still enjoyed myself, but some parts were a bit slow.
However, the part where they're at the Hollow is my favorite cuz that's where the romance really picked up. I loved that Jacks finally softened up and started to take care of Evangeline, and the Hollow is so ethereal. I love the little dragons!!
