Kelly Link’s collection of stories had some wonderful moments, surprises, and language. The first story is a literary plunge into the world of the afterlife. The next two are more in the genre of horror, and that’s not a genre I read much or like. Kelly didn’t change my mind about that, although her writing always remained interesting and effective.
