Already a fan of Whyte-Heath's first book, I decided to check out "They came to Help Us." Set in the future, this novel has such imaginative (but believable) ideas for future restrictions on our planet which kept me intrigued throughout. I love aliens stories and if Martians made contact, I feel they would probably intervene to save us from ourselves. Did they really come to help, or were the Martians only here to rape our planet? Well, I'll let you decide! I hope Lynn Whyte-Heath writes another ...more

The basic story in this is sound but I feel that the characters aren't fully fleshed out. This means a lot of the time there is very little holding it all together and the interaction between the characters often leaves a lot to be desired. The dialogue between the characters is very stilted which lends a falsity to what is needed to support what could be an awesome plot line. I love the idea of humans and martians working together for mutual gain and the concept of human elders going to live on ...more

I totally enjoyed writing g this book

The topic of this book should give the readers something to consider. It would be a good read for over 14 s.
