What Members Thought
Took me forever and evah to finish this damn book. I thought it was more interesting when the author finally left for Brazil which is about 3 quarters into the story. And even then the ending.. no definitive conclusion to what happened to Percy in 1925 I mean other than he obviously died. So many people died.. both the locals and the ones looking for Percy. I did enjoy the photos! very cool.
While I LOVED this book, it's not great for those concerned with tourism in the Amazon. Creepy, crawly, unseen things that can cause severe pain, disturbing levels of suffering, and death. (Shiver)You gotta read it.
