I need a moment to compose myself and get my thoughts in order. Wow. I really really love this book. I would recommend it to any one every one. The writing style didn't bother me at all. The lack of quotes made the reading smooth like run on sentences. The entire time I was curious how the author was going to end the book and the ending was genius. I mean I should have figured that out just by the first person narrative but I couldn't see past the next page through my tears. I enjoyed reading th

Dark, but good book. Interesting to read now, knowing that she wrote it in the early '80s. Some of the restrictions don't sound that far off with the current administration.

I read The Handmaid's Tale three times in one summer. Years later, I picked it up and once again could not put it down. This is definitely one of my favorites!
