When I saw the cover and title of this book, I expected it to be Gossip Girl, with a tinge of burglary.
It is not.
Our hero spends only a scene in a boarding school, and then flits about the world in a caper to save her dad. There's a rather stereotypical (though still lovable) crew of criminal kids. There are numerous paternal figures, though they are absent enough for the kids to be the heroes, and there's the tragically lost mother. But it's all done very well.
