Let me start with this book is not for everyone. It is about a circus family who highly values the (sometimes self-induced) deformities in their children and places them in the circus. That being said, this is still a family, everyone had their place and everyone had their chores. It is truly a family business. Probably one of my favorite books ever. I have loaned it out and not gotten it back so many times I think this is my 4th copy. Amazing story, concept and narrative. Amazing! Enough said.
