Burns' artwork is really beautiful to view. His subject matter is often twisted and disturbing, dark and grim, his linework and colors are really amazing.
I'm a little surprised that this was published in hard cover, as it's the first in a series, not unlike Y The Last Man. It's great that Pantheon is investing resources in this. The Hergé influence is clear. The other thing that is clear to me is that I'm not interested in reading the rest of the series.
