What Members Thought
Reading this book felt like running a marathon. It hooked me right from the beginning, and while the story arc is more of a long-distance race than a neat package of story, it never let me go. Be prepared to be emotionally drained at the end, and it's probably a good idea to have the sequel at your side so you don't throw the book across the room in frustration when you're done. Ness deals with some TOUGH issues in an engaging way, and has created character with an incredibly clear voice.
