I was lucky to receive an advanced digital copy of this book from Edelweiss in exchange for an honest review.
I <3 Hyperbole and a Half and Allie Brosh. I've been obsessively reading her blog for a long time (and was among those who were concerned when she disappeared), so I am so so happy I got to read this! I've missed you, Allie!

I LOVED hyperboleandahalf.blogspot.com when it was active. I read it whenever I just needed to forget about life and smile over badly drawn people and perfectly illustrated dog antics. By far, one of my favorite books ever. And not just because it had lots of pictures.
Not only did I laugh until I cried, a lot, but I identified with a lot that the author wrote about. A scary amount really. I believe her chapters on depression are brilliant and they actually helped me a lot with my own feelings on the same subject.
Frankly, this is an absolutely fantastic book and everyone needs to read it.

I can't think of any book that has ever made me laugh as hard as this one. Like, to the point of tears. But it's also honest and sometimes heartbreaking, and the parts about depression really resonated with me. I highly recommend this book.
