Okay, so I bought into the hype surrounding this book/movie and I must say I am glad that I took that leap! I can so totally relate to Julie and her mind set and what she was going through at this moment in her life. I laughed out loud (sometimes hysterically) and I cried. I recommend this book. I found her blog and am going to try and read the blog she was doing during the Project. I may even buy Julia Child's Mastering the Art of French Cooking....

Fell short of the movie and I actually liked the movie better. The movie was able to hold my attention. There was a section in the book where she talked about beef bone marrow that just gave me the heebie-jeebies that wasn't in the movie, but that's the only thing I think that was left out that might have added to it. Watch the movie instead of reading the book.
