Of the three main narrators/characters, I really didn't enjoy the parts that were mostly about June. I just never found her sympathetic or even believable in most of the book. Hector's story was the most interesting, though he was an incredibly sad and damaged person. They all were very damaged. I could understand Hector and Sylvie, and why they were what they were. But June just never rang true to me, though I could see what Lee was trying to do with her. It just didn't quite work. Still, an in
