Characters: I really liked how Cara was really down to earth and did not fall into the perfect girl syndrome which a lot of YA books seem to fall in. She had her flaws and she faced real issues with friends, rejection etc. Aelyxs was fascinating and to learn about L’eihr and was intriguing!

This wasn't a bad book, it just wasn't what I was expecting. The description made this book sound like something that it wasn't. It had the potential to be something unique, but it fell flat in many ways. To me, this book just felt like the typical paranormal love story: sexy new guy, studious popular girl, paranormal entity of choice[aliens], and a totally unbelievable romance.
